Festive Wishes from DiGiHUB 360

As 2018 comes to an end, it gives a chance to reflect on what has been an interesting an exciting  year. In a world where competition among all business is fierce along with consumers penny pinching globally and locally, digital online marketing and having an online strategy and online presence has become more important.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) 2018

This has been such an interesting field for us online geeks to work in. Google is constantly on the move to improve its search results to the end user. As a result, they have had numerous confirmed and unconfirmed updates this year. While it’s a fact that ranks are always on the move, this year has seen some huge constant changes. This keeps us SEOs on our toes to ensure we’re not only keeping up with changes but keeps us in check to make sure we continue to do what we do in the best ways possible.

Google Ads and Pay Per Click (PPC) in 2018

From a technical point of view, there have been plenty of changes even for the agencies to grasp moving onto new platforms and even a whole change of name from Google AdWords to Google Ads. All advertisers are continuing to change and improve (with the intent of the better). We saw especially in some industries some very heavy competition in 2018. In some cases gone were the days of ‘cheap clicks’ with more not just the usual competitors at play but new entrants in to different industries. PPC competitors are different to SEO competitors. While there is some crossover, entering PPC advertising space is much easier for newcomers so a businesses SEO competition VS PPC and even physical competition might be different.

2018 has been a great year for DiGiHUB 360. Through our boutique service offering, we’ve had some great results for those that have joined us and we continue to improve. Unlike traditional agencies, our primary focus from our boutique service offering is to improve on our existing campaigns rather than obtain lots of new clients. That’s just how we roll.
